Dysfunctional team change
Starting position: The team is not functioning well; various issues and behaviors block performance. Employees are not working hand-in-hand, information is being withheld, gossip is rife, and decisions are rarely implemented fully. Target: Analysis of the dysfunctions within the team, addressing the issues, and resolving the inefficiencies.
Together with Sondheimer Consulting, the potential 5 dysfunctions within a team are addressed. We do this with a small and discreet survey of the team. The anonymous outcome is shown graphically, and forms the transparent basis for future change. The required measures are then defined and prioritized within the team. A follow-up workshop will ensure that the team dynamics are moving in the right direction.
The potential 5 dysfunctions within a team are:
- Absence of trust
- Fear of conflict and victim role
- Lack of commitment
- Avoidance of accountability
- Inattention to results
